Breastfeeding newborns is one of the most natural things for a mother to do. Indeed, a baby searches for the breast for feeding from the moment he is born. Maternal milk is the most natural and obvious food for babies, as it holds everything the child needs, including antibodies and therefore protection against illnesses. Breastfeeding has existed since the beginning of time, and this practice should not disappear. Women often prefer to bottle feed, which is not necessarily more practical but does not require such a perfectly healthy lifestyle as breastfeeding does. Bottle feeding should remain the exception, as formula milk will never be 100% adapted to the child. It contains artificial elements and is produced industrially with none of the health and safety benefits of maternal milk. The Foundation has edited a book which will help women to solve problems related to disinformation.
